Russell Peters In Malaysia 2012 Tickets - SOLD OUT
If you are a fan of Russell Peters, you'd know by now that their tickets went on sale this morning at 9 am.
I was one of the kiasu's who went after the tickets! it felt like there was a stretch of invisible wall around the damn site, cuz I COULDN'T GET IN!!!
'server busy' it says..phuh..
At one point I was so close to submitting my credit card details, and *poof* it went to 'server busy' mode.
my RM248 tickets just vanished. And when I tried again, no more tickets for that seating :(
I had to fork out extra, to get the RM 388 seats. sigh.
But oh well, its not always you get a chance to see the million dollar indian comedian!
It better be worth it.
In case you are wondering, tickets are all sold out - to what i think was, after 4 hours on sale.
This is a seating plan for your reference for the South gate:
(actually it is for my own reference la, coz I am sitting there)
If you really want to get these tickets, you could try getting second hand from
Mudah.my or Ebay or Facebook marketplace to try your luck...
Cheerios!

Awesome week - if only it could be like this EVERYWEEK!
Probably it is partly due to the fact that I am on holidays from Friday till Today :)
Monday :
Dreadful day at work
I have been *promoted* to get more work than usual now. So there are some changes taking place on my daily routine, but, heck! its tough!!
Tuesday:
Random Gathering
My CLP (Cert. of Legal Practice) friends decided we should meet up after 6 months of everyone's disappearance. So I was the mastermind, and we met at Devi's Bangsar.
I last minute-ly bought a cake for my 2 buddies belated birthday after work.
And I was running late to buy them both a gift.
The only shop I pass to get home is a Grocery shop.
Me being a genius, I thought of something. A prank.
I got them each a Cucumber. :) something heavy, which they can't guess correctly - and at least something they could use to cook, or for a facial.
I got home, wrapped it with tissue, put them in a box, and sealed it with a birthday wrapper!
It was initially a girls night out; but since I was about to celebrate their birthday, I secretly invited the rest of the gang.
We had a good time chatting and eating, and it turned out even better when the girls opened their gift..
Piza & Cyn

Weekend Strolling in Ikea
I always wanted to get some ideas from Ikea for the new house. I love their ideas, but the quality is just not worth the price we pay.. I have had several furniture from Ikea, and I must say, they don't last long..
Since Nana wanted to get some toiletries too,we decided to take a quick look at Ikea after brunch.
Some things that caught my eye:
A wall mirror with frame - which would allow me to put my perfume/earrings/make up kits along the paneling

Stainless steel toilet cover - doesn't look cheap like the plastic ones

Toilet shelf that is mount to the wall - check out the bottom!
It looks like its floating on air! I could conveniently leave my flip flops under..
and did I mention, cleaning the floor would be a breeze without having to worry how it'll damage the wood!

A tiny sink just enough to wash you hand - for a guest washroom :)
Saves plenty of space!
Oooh, and I love the tiling in this picture!

Not so attractive, but it serves good purpose! A foldable/bending reading lamp
perfect for a bed room :)

Now the trick is to find somewhere that can make the furnitures I want!

It's like treasure hunting
Wedding planning isn't very fun if you don't know what exactly you want but all you know, is that you have a budget..
I did some planning on how it is to be like, and decided to splurge on the venue and food rather than the invitation cards.
I mean, who would actually keep these cards as a remembrance besides us, the bride and groom??
I know I always chucked cards away.
So there's no way I'm going to spend like five bucks on a card to be thrown away :)
I spoke to dad about it and he went. 'YEAH!!!we should do it in a hotel!!'
:):):):) Im sucha happy girl!!
We went to the hotel and checked the place out.. Looked like it was very golden brown, as the walls are made of wood, and the table and chair covers are in light gold..
I thought it'd be best to utilize all the free stuff we could get; so I have to go with a theme that goes well with these to colors..
I did some searching for ideas and these are what I came up with.. It's a lot of photos but I think I'd probably mixed them all together..
To be honest... I feel this color is Very common.. I just received a wedding invitation today in this same color!!!

Wedding preps!
I am assuming that there will be many more post on this :)
Truth is, I have only just begun checking out the venues..so much for having all those dream weddings and fantasizing about it :P
I told Josh that I want the wedding to be in Ipoh - so that my grandaunt (whom I'm very close to) can attend the ceremony.
After all, we did the engagement dinner in KL right?
Dad approved it - and he helped us search for venues in Ipoh.. I'm quite surprised that even in Ipoh, all the halls were fully booked for the year end!
So, we started considering restaurants and hotels.
Dad scouted for hotels and had his attention to a new hotel that just started operation last December...
This hotel can't be anymore perfect!
It has pillar-less grand ballroom, and it is less than 5 minute drive from my grandaunt's place!
and to our delight - the grand ballroom is available for booking! Albeit the price will be slightly steep, it sure will look very grand!
I will be heading back to Ipoh to view this and confirm this hotel!
and probably also hunt for wedding invitation cards..
Oh did I tell you, my theme is going to be green and purple!
