.. I have the time to record what has been happening for a month.
I know, the line 'I've been so busy' is getting a little more common in here, and also boring! *but* i must say, this time this sentence was not abused.
I have to admit that I am so proud of myself to be juggling this much of stuffs!
April was no joke!
It was just
work and work for me.
There had been a reshuffling of staffs in my department, and I got a more challenging role.
My colleague (who has been there fore 3 years) got promoted to be our team lead.
So, someone had to take over his accounts, and that someone ended up to be me.
I had top dollar accounts in my hands, and cannot afford to screw up!
Being only in the company for 7 months, I have to prove that this was manageable..
While I was taking over his account, well, someone has to take over mine, right?
So, there was this other colleague, who is relatively new in our department to take over mine..
Since she was new, she had to get new software and access to make her laptop functional for this job. And this took a dreading 3 weeks.
In the meantime, we had to train her to familiarize with the system and how it works..
Apart from this, I had to also make sure both accounts were closely monitored.
At one point, I was dragging myself out of bed fearing that I forgot to follow up on something, and someone would call up complaining.
It was a stressful month!
If I only had that job to do, I wouldn't mind at all... but I had other things going on too!
# Edit: I hit my target for both accounts baby!! woo hoo!!
The house.
There is an endless list of issue with The House.
We finally got the keys! *hooray*
But.
The house was not how we last saw it.
It was leaking, and it was in a horrible state.
This House needed a major renovation.. *sigh*
More spending.
So there I was looking for a decent contractor... who'd do the job for the least price.
Even when the sound of the pricing sounded cheaper that the rest, I still cannot afford it, and have to apply for a loan.
And this will take an excruciating 2 weeks for approval.
On top of that,
I have
The Wedding.
This sale person who took over my file for the wedding venue kept calling me to come back to Ipoh, just to verify a few things, and hand over the agreement.
She also kept wanting to know all final decisions of how the layout was to be like, the decor, and what to expect during that day...
For something that was 6 months away, I thought it could wait, but she said it'll come before you even know it.
Didn't sound like I had the choice, so I had to sit and decide on what was it that I wanted during the wedding...
After a week of hard thinking during showers, I came up with the whole plan, and let her know.
I got back to Ipoh yesterday, got things in order, and back to KL today.
The Dress
Mom and I took sometime yesterday to head to the bridal studios... I have been seeing a lot of wedding gowns online, but never really tried it to see if it fit well for my size (meaning short and slightly chubby)So we thought maybe we could just hop into a studio, try a few outfit just to give that drive to go on a diet!
ahahaha!
We went to just TWO bridal houses, and i found
the dress!! *details undisclosed*
All I can say, it was still new, with tags, never been tried on, and was just put out on display the day before.. *melts*
After speaking to the salegirl, I found myself handing my credit card over, and got a receipt after.
So that looks like a confirmation for something that is
6 months away...
I hope it really reaches before
i even know it, so i wont regret this.. hahaha
But all in all, I'm really glad. Everything is almost 50% sorted.
