General Election 2013 Malaysia

Today's the day where all Malaysian adults get up early on a Sunday to simply cast their vote for the ruling party in Parliamentary and their own state.

There's been lots of news on 'phantom voters' coming in to for certain areas. These voters aren't exactly Malaysian. They are Nepalese, Bangladeshis and Indonesians who miraculously have a Malaysian Identity card.

Once these new got out (thanks to Facebook) , some angry citizens stood by the gates of the school where the voting is stationed.
Below is the link to a 4 minute video on angry citizens holding these phantom voters (PV) and confiscating their Identity Card.

Apparently, these PV are paid to come to Malaysia, given an identity card, and sworn to vote for a particular party.

Whether or not it is right to bash these people up is a subjective question. In my opinion, bashing these PV this round will deter or in fact make future PV's to think twice before agreeing to a free flight, cash and IC.
I think they should just stink to minding their own business.

Malaysia is a multi ethnic and cultural country. However, we Malaysians can easily identify people who are not one of us.

Polling stations closed at 5pm, and we are currently waiting for the results.

Malaysia.
Tomorrow, you may be something new :)
*fingers crossed*
